Volunteering with Malvern Welcomes

Malvern Welcomes is keen to hear from people who would like to be actively involved in what we do and contribute their talents and experience. Our volunteer needs change according to the current situation. Here are some of the ways you may be able to contribute:

Working with a family

Supporting the English learning of adults and children – if you are TESOL or TEFL qualified – as part of our team of English tutors.

Supporting the learning of children for a few hours a week – this may be face to face or online.

General support to a family – befriending, supporting access to medical and other services.

Driving a hired minibus occasionally

Every volunteer in a role which involves working directly with the people who we support is required to attend regular training sessions and to have a DBS check.
