THE BOY AT THE BACK OF THE CLASS
SPONSOR A BOOK FOR A SCHOOL
FOR REFUGEE WEEK
COULD YOU SPONSOR
A BOOK FOR A LOCAL SCHOOL?
We work hard to raise awareness in young people by encouraging them to read stories about refugees and the issues which they face. “The Boy at the Back of the Class” by Onjali Q Raus is an well-written novel about a Syrian refugee boy of some nine years old. We would like every local school to be given a couple of copies of this book so that older children can read it in time for Refugee Week, which takes place in June.
All you need to do is go in to the Malvern Book Cooperative, pay £5 per book and tell them which school you would like your donated book to go to. The shop will keep a list of schools for which the books are ordered and deliver them.
We thank the The Malvern Book Cooperative Bookshop, who are supporting us by selling the book for a reduced price. ... See MoreSee Less
